Buy Wholesale Easter Eggs, Bulk Orders, Corporate Gifts

2013 Update: We’ve checked over the prices again to see how they’ve changed since a year ago and mentioned their best deals.
2012 Update: Chocolate Buttons have revamped how they sell their wholesale Easter eggs to make it much easier for you to get a large numbers of them in a number of different types even cheaper than before. Essentially you can choose from their mixed boxes from the same maker such as Cadbury or Mars, or you can choose bulk quantities of the same egg which would be find if you get a number of different selections.
NB: The guys at Chocolate Buttons have said to me that there are NO valid voucher codes in existence. Fraudulent sites are saying they have them, but don’t. Apparently Chocolate Buttons have very small margins so they can’t afford to give discount or promotional codes away.

Here are your options:
This works out to be £3.33 each inclusive of vat (down from £3.60 last year) or £2.77 vat and would be perfect if you were trying to find a cost effective way to buy Easter eggs for give-aways, charitable events, promotions and employee incentives. Because they’re so cheap you can’t specify how much of each, but I expect you’ll get a fairly decent selection of Dairy Milk Buttons eggs, Creme egg ones, Cadbury Caramel ones, Mini eggs, Flake and Crunchie. Delivery is £4.95 for as many cases of eggs you choose to buy.
Each egg is their standard medium size which is 21.5cm x 18.5cm x 9.5cm

These work out at £2.76  each  (down from £2.88)  including vat or £2.31 each excluding vat and just like their Cadbury ones above are their medium sized eggs at the same dimensions just they’re cheaper. Personally I prefer the Cadbury ones based on taste and selection, but they are 57p cheaper per egg. It looks like you’ll get a selection of M&M’s eggs, Maltesers, Mars Bar and Galaxy Ripple eggs.

If you’d like to make life easier and buy boxes of 90 of a single type of medium sized egg then you can get them for the Mars Bar eggs, Malteser, Galaxy Ripple, M&M’s, KitKat Chunky, Rolo, Smarties, Creme Egg, Crunchie, Flake or the Mini egg ones. They’re all pretty different sizes but just to take the mini eggs one as an example, it’s 21.5cm x 12.5cm x 9.5cm. If you’re buying them in these 90 case pallets you’ll have to let them know if you can’t accept them in this form. Also these eggs may be in short supply close to Easter. This year they work out at £3.28 inc. vat or £2.73 excl. vat.

Boxes of 4 or 6 Large Luxury Easter eggs – prices vary
For those of you who are buying for fewer people and would like to increase the quality and size of the Easter egg you’re looking to buy in bulk quantities then you can buy a variety of large Easter eggs in big boxes of either four or six eggs for: Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Caramel, Flake, Cadbury Roses, Twirl, Wispa, Creme Egg, Mini Eggs, Mars and Friends, Malt-Easter (the bunny shaped treat), M&Ms, Celebrations, Minstrels, Galaxy “All About Indulgence”, Galaxy The Ultimate Indulgence, Galaxy All Black, Smarties Retro, Yorki, Minches, Kit Kat Chunky, Lion Retro, Aero Bubbles and many more. Mini Eggs - prices vary
You have a far greater choice when it comes to mini eggs as you can choose from foiled eggs, the sweet ones in large bags, as part of a hamper. You can even choose bulk quantities of say 1kg of lilac foiled eggs and 200g of orange ones. If you’re certainly looking to buy a huge quantity of them the Chocolate Buttons are probably your best bet. But if you wanted to get top quality ones then you could try Chocolate Trading Co. who do them in drums of 23o for £58.95 (or about 26p each that’s about 21p excluding VAT).

There are some other options such as Hotel Chocolat but they don’t give wholesale prices to buy online.
If you’re looking for a large order of wholesale Easter eggs then probably the easiest ways to buy them is from Chocolate Buttons as they give huge discounts for bulk orders.
You may want to buy them for a large Easter egg hunt, as office/work gifts or charity event. So what do they have?
Early 2012 Update – I’ve not seen Chocolate Buttons sell any new Easter eggs this year, but I’ll keep an eye on their site and see what crops up. What I will be doing for the Easter eggs which they’re doing again is check to see what the prices are like – considering that cocoa commodity prices have come down over the past couple of years or so. I’ll also have a look to see which other sources of wholesale Easter eggs there are.
