The Thorntons Mad About Nuts Easter Egg is another large Easter egg from Thorntons. You actually get 380g of nutty milk chocolate egg shell with caramailised nuts on it and two bags fo chocoalte covered brazil nuts to go with it.
Now this is a fantastic alternative to the traditional milk chocolate Easter eggs that you’ll find in the supermarkets.
I’d hardly opened the top flap when the nutty aroma hit me – this is a great introduction to this nutty egg.
But its the taste that is outstanding. They obviously use the same milk chocolate for this range – and they’re certainly wise to do it. It’s just as velvety-smooth as their other eggs I’ve tasted.
The only problem I had was trying to get to the nuts on the front. The only way to do it is to eat the rest of the egg to leave them. The nuts are set in very thick chocolate so it may take a while!
The chocolate-coated Brazil nuts were just as great and very moorish! I had to stop eating them as I’ve got other eggs to review!
