Organic White Chocolate Egg with Raspberry & Coconut Smash

Now the Organic White Chocolate Egg with Raspberry & Coconut Smash from Natural Collection looks like a stunner of an Easter egg!

The egg has handmade thick white chocolate but has a unique "work of art" decorating the shell.

The unique part is that it has tangy raspberry and coconut with the organic white chocolate so it should be a nicely balanced flavour.

The egg may not be suitable for vegans and may contain nuts, gluten, soya and milk.

They're not even bad for the £15.95 price when you consider how unique they are. Take a look yourself at Natural Collection.

Green & Blacks Organic White Chocolate Easter Egg

Now I must confess, I'm not the greatest white chocolate lover in the world. But I thought I must review the Green & Blacks Organic White Chocolate Easter Egg out of fairness and completeness.

When I first got it out of the big box that Ethical Superstore sent me, I was pleasantly surprised with what I was greeted with. The box is delightfully simple and does show exactly that its a white chocoalte egg with a hint of vanilla.

When you take the egg out of the packaging you can see why its only £2.99 as its not the biggest egg in the World ever. As you're not spending big money, you can't really complain.

When you take the egg out of its foil you'll notice an intense aroma, it's very strong and sickly. You'll also see that the egg has a speckily design which I believe is all the natural vanilla.

The interesting bit is when you taste it, its very light and not as overpowering as the aroma. I'm not sure if I could eat a whole one, but I'm sure many of you will absolutely love it.

You can get it from Ethical Superstore.

Thorntons Organic Easter Egg

If you didn't want to spend £60 on an egg from Hotel Chocolate or £15 from Thorntons, you can get a nice Organic Easter egg for just £2.99 from Thorntons. Its also an Easter egg that's suitable for Vegetarians and is gluen free.

You may not be able to personalise it with icing, but its still a very good quality Easter egg for a reasonable price.

Green & Blacks Organic 70% Dark Chocolate Egg

I was really looking forward to this egg as I love dark chocolate. I was slightly dissapointed however.

The box does look fantastic. The golden wrapping adds a sense of quality and the six mini praline mini-eggs look like there'll be a little bit of extra luxury.

When opening up the box the aroma was not as strong as I'd thought it woudld be, and that was a slight disapointment. The taste was also strange. It started off quite agricultural. I don't want to say the word sewerage as that wouldn't be fair. But it's the taste of fermenting hay - perhaps because its organic? That taste only lasts for a moment and then subsides into a nice bitter tang.

One nice characteristic is that the chocolate is quite thick. It's certainly not a lighweight egg at 180g seeing as it's not compromised by a couple of chocolate bars - which is the case with most of the cheaper alternatives.

The mini pralines are exceptionally nice, if a bit too small. Of course there is a distinct advantage knowing that you're eating organic and that its suitable for vegitarians although they do say that it is manufactured in an environment where gluten and ceral products are also handled. The downside is that if you react unfavourably to nuts then you couldn't try the pralines.
