Thorntons Milk Chocolate Easter Bunny

The guys at Thorntons sent me this Milk Chocolate Bunny to review. I was a bit suprised when I opened the box and thought it'll just like the other kids chocolate Easter eggs and be very sweet and over-powering. But I was suprised at how rounded the flavour and aroma was. This is a very special bunny.

I think Thorntons have done a great job of keeping Easter simple. They name their products simply so you know exactly what you're getting and the packaging is nice and uncomplicated - the chocolate sells itself.

The one thing struck me when I got the egg out of its nice, simple box was the balanced aroma - it wasn't as overpowering as some of the cheaper eggs that you can get from the supermarkets for a Pound or two.

But this is the bit I really loved. When you push the shell in to brake it open, the sound was amazing - it reverberated around the room!

Also the chocolate wasn't too sweet. It was as balanced and understated as the aroma. It was smooth and velvety which is suprising as it was about 50.9% sugar. Now if you've got a quota of sugar to have in any day - I'd use it eating the Thorntons Milk Chocolate Easter Bunny!

Organic 'Marble' Milk Chcoolate Easter Egg

I'm starting to love the uniqueness of the Easter eggs that Natural Collection offer. When you look at their Organic 'Marble' Easter egg you can appreciate the quality of their produce.

You get 300g of Milk and white chocolate in an Easter egg shape and I'm sure it'll taste delicious (I'm going to get me some).

Ouef Maisonnette Milk Chocolate Easter Egg

What I love about Chocolate Trading Co. is that offer something differnet. I'm pretty sure you won't find the Ouef Maisonnette Milk Chocolate Easter Egg sold by anyone else.

Its made out of fine milk chocolate using the best ingredients including cane sugar and Bourbon vanilla pods. It doesn't use any preservatives or artificial flavourings either.

The egg is decorated by a bird-house design and a little chick. I must admit its quite cute - but not cheap!

I'm sure its worth the £22.99 from Chocolate Trading Co.

Thorntons Mad About Nuts Easter Egg

The Thorntons Mad About Nuts Easter Egg is another large Easter egg from Thorntons. You actually get 380g of nutty milk chocolate egg shell with caramailised nuts on it and two bags fo chocoalte covered brazil nuts to go with it.

Now this is a fantastic alternative to the traditional milk chocolate Easter eggs that you'll find in the supermarkets.

I'd hardly opened the top flap when the nutty aroma hit me - this is a great introduction to this nutty egg.

But its the taste that is outstanding. They obviously use the same milk chocolate for this range - and they're certainly wise to do it. It's just as velvety-smooth as their other eggs I've tasted.

The only problem I had was trying to get to the nuts on the front. The only way to do it is to eat the rest of the egg to leave them. The nuts are set in very thick chocolate so it may take a while!



The chocolate-coated Brazil nuts were just as great and very moorish! I had to stop eating them as I've got other eggs to review!

Again you can add a ten character message for just 50p.

Thorntons Continental Viennese Easter Egg

The Continental Viennese Easter Egg is a new one from Thorntons this year and is a handy 445g milk chocoalte Easter egg.

You not only get a fairly large Easter egg, but aslo 20 fantastic Viennese truffles to dish out to your friends and love ones, or keep for youself.

You can also pay an extra 50p to add an loving message - upto 10 characters which is nice.

Continental Milk Chocolate Easter Egg

The Continental Milk Chocolate Easter Egg is a smaller version of the larger 660g Easter egg, and I'm sure for most it'll be the most suitable one for most of you.

This one is still a very handy 470g which is significanlty large than most and costs £10.



In fact its a huge Easter egg, I was astonished when I got it out of the parcel to see the size! It should last you a very long time!



When you take the egg out of its box you'd note its amazing aroma - in fact its the best smelling Easter egg I've reviewed so far this year!

And it gets even better when you taste it! Wow! I nearly swore when I tasted the chocolate. The texture is immensely smooth and taste is simply out of this world! And for ten pounds, there are very few things you can get for that price that could give you as much satisfaction. (and I'm not saying that because they sent me this egg to review!)

And when you think you can get this egg personalised with a message for just 50p, I'm hard-pressed to think of a better Easter egg to buy your loved one.

Thorntons Large Continental Easter Egg

This is a huge Easter egg, the net weight is 660g which compares very favourably to the normal 175g Easter eggs.

The Thorntons Large Continental Easter Egg is basically a milk chocolate Easter egg with white and dark decoration on them as well as two boxes of Continental Chocolates which amount to 31 bites of pure sensation.

The bit I like about it is you can add an iced message for just 50p - which I think is very reasonable.

You can buy this Easter egg for £15 which isn't the cheapest Easter egg you'll find, but when you realise you're gettting a very large one, I'm sure you'll think its value for money.

If you wanted something a bit smaller, Thorntons also do a 470g Continental Milk Chocolate Easter egg.

You Crack Me Up Extra Thick Easter Egg

The You Crack Me Up Extra Thick Easter Egg™ may be aimed at kids, I don't know, but its certainly got a big fan in me. I simply love thick shelled Easter eggs! It's made with 40% milk chocolate and has some nice happy smiley face pralines as welll as happy chickens and bunnies and made by Hotel Chocolat.

Rocky Road to Caramellow

The Rocky Road to Caramellow Easter Egg™ is 490g of today chocolatey heaven! it's got a cookie-type texture and is filled with caramel and milk chocolate. For £19 it's a good price for nearly half a kilo of luxury chocolate!
