Now these Belgian Hand Decorated Mini Eggs are for people that love very sweet chocolates. The box for these mini eggs is just as beautiful as the Chocochic Easter egg which was also fairly sweet.
One of the great things about these is that they’re meant to be a small token of your affection at Easter without going over the top as you could do with some of the traditional retailers such as Hotel Chocolat or Chocolate Trading Co.
They do look lovely and totally delicious and you get nine of them, five milk chocolate and 4 white chocolate. The milk chocolate ones are 30% minimum cocoa solids whilst the white ones are 55%.
Now, for me, they were a bit sweet, but that’s natural with caramel as its basically sugar. One thing I was impressed with is that it was real caramel, not the “false” stuff you’d get in mass-produced Easter eggs or chocolate.
At £6 for the box, they’re not bad value and if people are really into their caramel and want to try something different then they’re well worth buying.
Easter Eggs Rating: 5/10 – a bit sweet for me, but I’m sure those with very sweet teeth will love them. Just make sure you’re not a diabetic before you try them.
