Green and Blacks Organic Dark Chocolate Easter Egg

I’m a big fan of both Green & Blacks Organic Chocolate and Ethical Superstore. So it comes as no surprise that I find this Green and Blacks Organic Dark Chocolate Easter Egg a great one for those that like dark chocolate, however, it was a bit much for me.
Now this Easter eggs should only be bought for people that seriously love dark chocolate as its very bitter. If you just have a little nibble the flavour lingers on the tastebuds for a fair while. If you don’t balance it with a drink or something sweet it does get a bit too bitter. It almost had a taste of nicotine, but obviously it doesn’t include any.
The aroma really kicks you and like most organic Easter eggs it does have that slight farmyard aroma. But that’s all part of the natural, organic philosophy and I feel its a damn site better than filling up with those Easter eggs that are mostly sugar.
One thing you’ll find is that egg does look fantastic, the design is elegant and the chocolate is reasonably thick – so much so that it was a nightmare to get into. I advise that you get yourself a little hammer too.
All that said, if you’re a dark chocolate lover or someone that’s into organic chocolate then this the Green and Blacks Organic Dark Chocolate Easter Egg is certainly at the superior end of the market.
