Every year fewer and fewer people are seemingly sending Easter flowers to friends and loved-ones. And that’s a shame. To me there’s no better time to send flowers than mid-Spring when the daffodils are on their way out and the more colourful flowers are starting to come into full bloom. The reason that people might not be buying as many Easter flower bouquets as they used to might be the cost. If you look at the Feurtop website their prices start from ¬£34.80 and go up to ¬£52.20 for a deluxe bouquet and then you pay a “worldwide service fee” of ¬£7.99 – whatever that is.
Your other options include Clare Florist which has a nice range of Easter flowers cost from £29.99 including delivery. This bouquet is a mixture of Freesias and Lilies whilst they do others with a white theme such as their dozen white or ones with some lime green flowers. You can also get a dozen yellow roses, some yellow carnations or 50 lemon tulips.
They also do a rose and freesia bouquet with some free chocolates which costs ¬£34.99 including delivery. You could upgrade the chocolates to a 175g box of Thorntons Continentals for ¬£6.95 or a teddy bear. They do other bouquets that you can upgrade to include the Thorntons chocolates, but not all. You’ll just have to click on the picture for each arrangement and check out – the information is very clear.
You can also order same day delivery flowers which aren’t much more expensive. In this selection they have two that stand out as being distinctly Easter-themed such as their Sunny Daze and Vibrant Vibe bouquets. I also like their Riviera flowers.
But if you visit the¬†Inteflora¬†website, please note that they’ve still got a page saying that Easter is on 24th April. This year (2012) it is 8th April. They do have ¬†good selection of flowers too – ¬†most have same day delivery, whilst a handful are only¬†available¬†on a next day basis.
You can also buy Easter flowers and delivered by courier from: Flowers Direct.
