New Consumer have done a review of ethical / organic and fairtrade Easter eggs. So which are the best? Watch their reviews:

Dubble Fairtrade EggSimply Fair
It’s for kids and tastes ”very sweet” they gave it 3 out of 15 and you can get it from Supermarkets and independent shops.

Dark Chocolate Fairtrade Chocolate Pod 
£3.50ish from Sainsbury’s – they said it was very bitter and strong. They gave it 8 out of 15.

Sainsburys organic milk chocolate egg
They like it, and describe it as “gentle but full of taste”
£4.99ish from Sainsbury’s. They gave it 13 out of 15.

Divine Dark Chocolate Fairtrade Easter EggSimply Fair
“Dark, bitter, nothing special”, “a bit too strong”, “uninteresting”
£4.99 – £5,49 from supermarkets and independents. They gave it 7 out of 15.

Duchy Originals Organich Milk Chocolate Easter Egg
“Doesn’t taste of anything”, “quite nice” and “fairly light, it’s ok”
£8.99 from supermarkets and independents. 7 out of 15.

Booja Booja Truffle Egg
Made in Norfolk, “a very tastey truffle, rich and delicious”, “smooth and nutty, very nice”, “not an egg” – £5.95ish from GoodnessDirect. 11 out of 15.

Stamp Collection Organic Bunny
“Dark chocolate but sweeter than normal”, “tastes like chalk”, “something’s missing”.
£3.99ish from supermarkets and independents. 5 out of 15.

Chocolate Alchemists Dark Chocolate Ginger Organic Egg
“Tastes amazing with the ginger”, “not brilliant”, “very posh”.
