If you wanted to get yourself some Easter Egg Hunt boundary tape and big banners then the place to go is Party Delights as they also have ones that they can personalise with your event or cause name

I’m going to start bringing together a list of organised Easter egg hunts for 2012. If you’re running one and want to be listed for free, please contact me. Also I’ve put a list of online shops that sell Easter egg hunt kits for families if they’d prefer to do their own.

South East

London - There’s the “world’s biggest Easter egg hunt” which apparently will incorporate 200 Easter eggs being placed around the city by Faberge where people that find them will apparently win “an extraordinary prize.”  You can find out more about the event here.

Henley -  Kidmore End Cricket Club in Gallowstree Common on March 24 from 2pm until 4pm to raise money for Kidmore End Pre-School. Details here.

Red House – at the Cafe & Garden Centre, School Road, Messing, Colchester, Essex, CO5 9TH (01621 815219). It costs £3 per child and includes a jungle foam mask and an Easter egg and is free for adults. There’ll be a BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting etc. It’s being held on Thursday 5th April 2012 from 11:30 am. Details.

Tottenham Hotspur – they’re doing some hunts around the stadium for kids over the Easter holidays. Details.

Brill Village – Easter Sunday at Brill School at 11am. It’s free but donations most welcome. There’s refreshments and cakes and you’re able to have a picnic if you like. Details.

Midlands

Staffordshire - There’ll be the 34th annual charity egg run to raise money for underprivileged children. Find out more details here.

Warickshire – There’ll be an Easter egg hunt on 8th April at Anen Hathaway’s cottage, Stratford-upon-Avon which will include a Shakespeare-themed egg trail. Find out more events in the area here.

Sandwell Valley – 1st April from 11:00 – 15:– at Sandwell Valley Park – £2 per child and the first 500 participants will get an Easter egg and goody bag. Details.

 

Scotland

Kilmarnock

Scottish Cancer support are holding an event on Sunday 1st April at Kilmarnock Dean Castle country park – contact Gemma Hall on 01560 321875 for details.

Linithgow

There’ll be an Easer fun run at Beegraigs Country Park on 8th April > Details.

Stirling

Stirling will have an Easter egg hunt on Wednesday 28th March at Kings Park Stirling by the children’s play area from 10am to 12noon and is organised by the National Childbirth Trust . Full details can be found here.

South West

Creech St. Michael – Canalside car park from 14:30 – Sunday 8th April, £2 per child accompanied by an adult. Details.

Isle of Wight

Arreton Old Village – Easter Sunday from 9:30 to 12:30 for children up to 12yo and it costs £2 per person with a donation going to Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Details.

Huddersfield
Almondbury will have a Dragons Eggs At Easter event on Wednesday April 15 between 2pm and 4pm and Almondbury Library in Stocks Walk will be holding an Easter Family Crafts event on Friday April 17 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. Find out more.

Shrewsbury
Starting from a variety of venues in Leicester, Birmingham and Wales, thousands of motorcyclists will converge on Shrewsbury Town Football Club before riding, with their Easter Eggs or Easter Bunnies to RAF Cosford, showing support for our Armed Forces. Find out more.

If you’re organising your own events then you may need to get some hollow chocolate eggs for an Easter egg hunt.
