Chocochic – Gourmet Easter Eggs

I try and review chocolate shops that many may not have heard about, don’t have the budgets to compete against the “big boys” or just don’t get the column inches of coverage that their rivals do.
It shows how well the internet has come that I found out about Chocochic on Twitter (their profile is MyChocochic and mine is Eastereggsuk).
The first thing that I noticed was how beautiful their website was and it made me instantly want to explore it in more detail.
When you click onto their boutique you’ll see a small selection of chocolate creations. It must be very hard to start a chocolate boutique these days with all the competition and I think they’re doing the right thing in focusing on a small range of products, getting a name for great quality chocolates and then building it up from there.
I asked them if they wouldn’t mind sending on an Easter egg, and Carrie duly sent some on which I got today.
You’ll notice when you open the box how they’re nicely and safely wrapped in silver paper and covered with a nice personal note on the top.
And then, when you unwrap the parcels you’ll notice your chocolate delights ready and waiting for your enjoyment.
I was sent the Easter Egg and the Belgian Hand Decorated Mini Eggs which I’m going to review in a bit. But I can say is for what you get, the prices are truly exceptional!! Whilst they also have a mini handbag, Cocoa Dusted Almonds, Heavenly Honeycomb, Creamy Caramel, Nutty Nougat and a Belgian Fruit Chocolate Collection.
