This is one of the nicest Easter eggs I've ever reviewed. It definitely has it's sweet edge, but that lemon flavour is fantastic and combines well with the crispy meringue pieces.
Combining chocolate with things you can do over the Easter weekend is a stroke of genius. Sometimes its nice to sit on our sofa and watch TV, but also it would be nice to do something more activity-based with our children.
For my sins I love marzipan, but there aren't many chocolatiers making marzipan Easter eggs. One way to get your fix, should you need one is via Niederegger who mainly do these sweet type of treats. I really did like them, but others would feel they're not actually all that related to Easter.
I absolutely loved the strange flavours accompanying the dark chocolate. You've got espresso, Maya gold, sour cherry, mint, ginger and burnt toffee. For £25 I'd say this Easter egg hamper from Green & Blacks is exceptional value - especially as you can save 10% with the voucher code!
Rococo Chocolates make some wonderful and well-thought out Easter gifts and this is one of their most simple. It's a milk chocolate egg including sea salt and a dark chocolate one with pepper and chilli, and they're wonderful.
This isn't Damian's most expensive Easter egg, but at £12 it's still very good value for money and may be a good one to interest a loved-one to dark chocolate.
