Thorntons Lemon Meringue Pie

This is one of the nicest Easter eggs I've ever reviewed. It definitely has it's sweet edge, but that lemon flavour is fantastic and combines well with the crispy meringue pieces.

Thorntons Banoffee Pie Easter Egg

This has to be the best milk chocolate Easter egg in this mid-price range I've reviewed this year. The banoffee is made from toffee, sweetened banana and a bit of white chocolate and tastes gorgeous.

Cupcake Easter Egg

For some reason I just love white chocolate and strawberry. But mixing it with this faux cream stuff just makes it the best white chocolate Easter egg I've tried all year. It's the most droolworthy one of the lot. What are you waiting for?

Green & Blacks Mint Dark Chocolate

As part of the latest Green & Blacks Easter egg hamper I got, there was this mint dark chocolate Easter egg and seeing as only the other mint Easter egg I’ve reviewed this year was the Aero Bubbles one, I was a tad excited. My own prejudice says that mint works much better with milk chocolate...

Green & Blacks Essential Dark Chocolate Easter Eggs

I absolutely loved the strange flavours accompanying the dark chocolate. You've got espresso, Maya gold, sour cherry, mint, ginger and burnt toffee. For £25 I'd say this Easter egg hamper from Green & Blacks is exceptional value - especially as you can save 10% with the voucher code!

Damian Allsop Dark Chocolate with Banana and Ginger

This isn't Damian's most expensive Easter egg, but at £12 it's still very good value for money and may be a good one to interest a loved-one to dark chocolate.
