If you like to feed your children chocolate that is essentially 75% sugar and saturated fats then feel free to buy these Kinder Surprise Easter eggs. I know it's only once a year, but still.
This white chocolate Easter egg from Betty's most certainly is one of the finest Easter eggs I've ever had the pleasure to try. It's far from excessively sweet and has a fantastic texture.
It's a shame this Easter egg arrived damaged, but it really did stand out from the crowd as having a completely original design. The twin layers of dark and white chocolate also make these eggs very unusual.
The milk chocolate butterfly was perfectly acceptable however I found the white chocolate lamb far too sweet and creamy. I know that children will love them, but I don't think they'll be too much of a favourite for adults.
The Thorntons Eton Mess Easter egg is certainly one for people that like white chocolate and need good value for money. Personally I found it a touch too sweet, but it's good to see Thorntons try something different.
Some people might be put off with a price tag of £2.50 for a bag of ten which makes them border-line good value for money. But if you get them on a multi-buy then they are good value for money.
