Caramel Mini Eggs

This three pack of Caramel Mini Eggs was another item from the Cadbury Easter egg hamper I reviewed earlier today. I’m not traditionally a fan of this type of caramel egg as it’s too similar to the gooey Creme Eggs and I much prefer the version from Paul A. Young which is about 40 times the price – but that’s just the way I am. But parents wouldn’t in their right mind spend that amount of money on their kids when they would like chocolate like that for themselves!
You can get these mini caramel eggs from Cadbury Gifts Direct in various sizes of hampers, and I was hoping to find them in the supermarkets but I just can’t see them online. You can get them in boxes of 8 from Amazon for £15.60 though.
Of course they’re the gooiest and sweetest chocolate treats there are. In fact I bit off the top and left it for a couple of minutes as I wrote the stuff above and all of the caramel just seeped out over the box. If you just adore sticky chocolate then these are the mini eggs for you!
There was just enough wrapping on the other two eggs to establish the fact that there’s 20% minimum cocoa solids. There rest of the nutritional information you’ll have to work for yourselves as there’s no way I’m getting all that caramel over my hands to find out there’s enough sugar in them to sink a battle ship.
You can tell they’re too sweet for me. But you people love them, and that’s the main thing! You can see what sort of gift hampers you can get them in here.
