As I munch my way through some more Cadbury’s Easter eggs I find myself stopping at the this large Twirl Easter egg.
It’s important to note when reviewing Cadbury Easter eggs that they’re not aimed at chocolate connoisseurs. They’re mainly aimed at families with children, people that want to buy Easter eggs but don’t want to spend a fortune. What I love about Cadbury Gifts Direct is that they make buying Easter eggs for your family so damn cheap and easy. They’ve got some great bargains aimed at different people so I think virtually everyone should be able to find an Easter egg suitable for at least one member of their family.
In this Twirl Easter egg you actually get a fairly large Easter egg at about 15cm tall plus three Twirl chocolate bars. If you were going to buy this singularly from Chocolate Buttons then it’d set you back £7.41. But with this Easter egg hamper pack you actually get a whole load of them for £25.00.
This is where this Easter egg comes into its own. It may be the usual Cadbury 20% cocoa Easter egg which isn’t going to win any awards for taste or texture, but what it will do is be an affordable family Easter egg.
Another bit I love about this Easter egg is the three Twirl bars. I’m ashamed to say they’re a guilty pleasure. I know sometimes they can taste a bit dry. But they’re perfect to have if you’re out and about and need a quick sugary fix! I just love them!
