The nice people at Bettys By Post sent me this Milk Chocolate Bunny Egg to see what I thought of it.
The first thing I should point out is that these Bettys By Post Easter eggs are handmade and you can tell. They’re very individualistic and full of character. In the catalogue that came with the egg it says that they’re made with two layers of chocolate, and as you can see from the photo below, it’s certainly true:
Its the other rustic features that I like, including the base which has been randomly placed on the bottom which gives the Bettys Easter eggs that bit more individuality.
But it’s also the handmade designs that make it special, for this one we have the bunny, but they also do a woolly sheep, swirls, flowers and other designs.
The taste is also wonderfully smooth and rich, it’s very edible and I’ve had to stop myself eating it otherwise I’ll just go through the whole thing!! The texture is just as smooth, it just melts in your mouth and is utterly delicious.
The Hand Made Milk Chocolate Bunny Easter Egg may not be the cheapest Easter eggs you’ll ever buy, but they’re certainly worth the money as you know you’re not getting an Easter egg that’s been mass-produced and has been stored in a warehouse for months and then spent the last few weeks on a shelf in your local supermarket. These Easter eggs are hand-made and you can tell.
