Oeuf Maisonnette, Dark Chocolate Easter Egg - Luxury Chocolate

Before I say anything, I'll let you know that I'm having trouble doing this review - not because I'm having trouble using this ergonomic keyboard, but because I'm distracted by the sheer quality of this Easter egg. I've never enjoyed dark chocolate this much in my life. Perhaps I need to get out more, but this dark chocolate Easter egg from Chocolate Trading Co. was simply awesome.


Not only is the Oeuf Maisonnette, Dark Chocolate Easter Egg presented in a beautiful box, but the design on the front is intriguing and would make superb chocolate Easter gift for a child or loved one that enjoys quality over brand name.



The Easter egg may only be 64% minimum cocoa content, but I feel they've got it just right. Some dark chocolate can be a bit too bitter, however, this has got the fantastic balance between the cocoa taste and that of the cocoa butter and cane sugar.

What I also liked was that it wasn't too thick either. Some dark chocolate can be thicker as its more brittle, however, the thickness of the Oeuf Maisonnette, Dark Chocolate Easter Egg was perfect!

You can get this 180g version (about 11cm tall) for £12.99 or the 320g one for £22.99. They also do milk chocolate ones if you like.

Easter Egg Ratings: 10/10 - I can't fault it. Perfectly wrapped in the delivery box, beautiful gift box, sensational flavour and wonderfully original. Buy one now, even if you've bought all your Easter eggs already, you have to get one of these.

I'm just about to review the You Crack Me Up Easter egg from Hotel Chocolat - it's going to have to be out of this world to beat the Oeuf Maisonnette!!
