Blueberry Egg Sandwich - Hotel Chocolate Easter Eggs

The Blueberry Egg Sandwich is much like the Smooth Praline Egg Sandwich and the Strawberry Sensation Egg Sandwich and at £6 its worth buying just for the fact that that its something different than you're likely to get from other online Easter egg shops, but you can get from Hotel Chocolat.

If you're looking for an Easter gift that's a bit of fun and a bit fruity then the Blueberry Egg Sandwich could be a good choice. This one has slabs of naturally flavoured blueberry white chocolate which has been pressed between dark chocolate shells.

These Hotel Chocolat Easter eggs are looking so great, I'm putting my order in to review now. Thankfully I've just received this one through the post from the lovely people at Hotel Chcoolat so can do you a thorough review.



First off, the egg was slightly smaller than I expected, but the disappointment was short-lived as I then focused on how beautifully it was packaged. I gently prized open the front of it and got closer to the delightful chocolate creation inside. At that stage the fantastic aroma of the strawberry part came out and made the chocolate even more appealing. After taking the two parts of the chocolate out you can feel how smooth and polished it is.


I first gave the blueberry part a nibble and I must stay it was tingly on the tongue with a great flavour. It's nice to have the bitterness of the dark chocolate counter-balanced with mildly sweet taste of the blueberry part.

Easter Eggs Rating: 9/10 - it could be slightly bigger, but the texture and flavours were superb!
