Galaxy Mini Egg - Chocolate Caramel Temptations

Now I reviewed the true Galaxy Mini Eggs the other day and they were nice, more so because I'm not a huge fan of caramel. So I was a bit unsure about what I'd think of these "Chocolate Caramel Temptations" that I bought from Tesco for 44p.

When you first unwrap the egg you'll definitely remember the distinctive aroma that all Galaxy chocolate has. The egg itself did have gaps in the chocolate, but I don't expect perfection - its only a mini egg that cost 44p!


I was dreading trying it as there was a huge amount of caramel in it. But to my amazement the caramel didn't taste of anything - no overpowering sugar taste, no zing at the back of your taste buds, nothing, nowt, zilch, nada. I took a second opinion on it too. And they reported the same thing. So if you're buying the Easter egg for the caramel taste then I wouldn't bother.


You could spend playing with the caramel and making shapes if you didn't really want to eat it as it was very gooey!

Overall, I was very disappointed. The aroma I didn't like, the caramel didn't taste of anything and you're far better off buying the Mars Mini egg instead.
