Last Order Dates For Easter Delivery

Many of you may still want to buy some of the more sophisticated Easter eggs online and may not want to visit your local Tesco's or Asda.

So here are the last order dates for the online Easter egg retailers that offer something different:

1) Thorntons
Thorntons make this very easy. On their homepage they saty that the last order date for Easter eggs is Wednesday 19th March at 4pm. But for this you need to select "Gold" delivery which costs £5.95. Thorntons are great in that they allow you request a specific delivery date.

2) Hotel Chocolat
For UK delivery it takes 3-5 working days so you'll need to order by Wednesday. But they do Gold delivery which gives you next working day delivery if you order before 2.30GMT. So for this I'd say Thursday 20th at 4pm to be safe - it seems they've extended the last order time especially for Easter. Gold Delivery costs £5.95 for one item or £7.95 for two or more.

3) Cadburys
Cadburys offer a next day delivery service for orders Monday - Thursday if made before 3pm (but this does exclude the highlands and islands). This costs £6.50, but if it's a bulk load it may be easier than carrying them back from the shops?


4) Green & Blacks
Green & Blacks have one of the earliest Last Order Dates - Wednesday 19th at 12:00PM. Their standard delivery charge is quite high at £5.00 althogh their next day delivery service costs £6.50, and like most they won't deliver on a Sunday or Monday.

5) Chocolate Trading Co.
The Chocolate Trading Co. have some of the best delivery prices. You can get normal 3-4 day delivery for £3.95 or next day delivery for just £4.95. If you're buying from them the last delivery date and time is Wednesday before 4pm.

6) Ethical Superstore
The Ethical Supersore charge packaging and delivery based on weight but if you're buying more than one, I'd expect to pay £3.95. But I couldn't see next day delivery. So I'd recommend you buy by Tuesday at the latest.
