Thorntons Premium Collection Easter Egg

The Thorntons Premium Collection Easter Egg is 275g of pure joy. Its the only Easter egg I've reviewed today that I can't stop eating whilst I'm typing up my thoughts. It really is that good!

When I looked at the package and saw the "Premium Collection" and its description: "Exlusive milk egg with an exquisite selection of truffles, pralines and mousses smothered in milk, dark and white chocolate" I thought it was just marketing speak. But they are fantastic - not only the small chocolates but the egg as well.

When you open up the box you'll find yourself looking at a selection of 8 chocolates within a golden box and a smooth, glistening egg wrapped in black ribbon.

I don't know if I've mentioned the chocoaltes enough. Sometimes the pralines and mousses can be a bit ordinary. But these were fantastically mouth-watering.


You'll find yourself confronted with a good selection: Heavenly Hazelnut, Dark Champagne Truffle, Cafe Latte, Raspberry Rapture, Milk Manon, Caramel Divine, Vanilla Velvet and Praline Noir.

I'm not a great fan of fruity chocolates, but the Rasberry Rapture was devine! These are certainly one to buy again.

I'm glad I reviewed the cheap Easter eggs earlier on as when I picked this Thorntons Premium Collection egg out of its packaging it was so smooth and satin-like.

And the taste was just as exhilirating. It was so moorish - I couldn't stop eating it! I'm a big fan of dark chocolate but this milk chocolate egg was enough to convert me.

The one downside of the egg was that it was slightly thin - but I can cope with that as the taste was fantastic.

The chocolates do contain nuts, milk and soya.
