Kit Kat Activity Experience Gift Certificate Easter Egg
Wilkinsons have the Kit Kat Activity Experience Gift Certificate Easter Egg on sale for just £4.99 which is not bad a price! You can also buy it online from Chocolate Buttons. It may be more expensive than the Kit Kat Crunchy Easter Egg I got for £1. You can also get them from Netto and Woolworths.

I must admit the packaging is very enticing and its obvious what you'll get inside. Well you get a normal Nestle KitKat, an Easter egg and a gift certificate.
I was going to write about the gift experiences they have to offer you with this egg, but the www.eastergiftcertificate.co.uk website is down. The only thing I can work on is the images on the front of the pacaking which indicate you could go gokarting, golfing or windsurfing - sounds cool to me! When you look at the Terms and Conditions it also states you can get canoeing, sailing, sailing, kayaking, climbing, clay pigeon shooting, orienteering, zorbing, polo or fishing - crikey! There's loads of choice! The terms are that you've got to use your gift experience certificate between 01.06.08 and 30.09.08 - four months isn't too bad I suppose.
The thing is I wouldn't buy this Eater egg for kids as you've got to be over 18 to enjoy the activity gift. The important detail is that the activities are free - this what they say in point 3.
You've also got to quote "Nestle Kit Kat gift certificate offer" at the time of booking. I hope they're not going to be like Easy Jet and say if you don't say that exact phrase you won't get the free gift experience. They're good people I'm sure.
There's another detail which is that you can only use one gift certificate per person - if you're an adreneline junky you'll have to pay for the extra ones yourself.
Also you can't amend or cancel your experience and get another one. Just make sure you check your diary first!

But down to the important point - the chocolate!
This Kit Kat Easter egg is the first one I've smelled recently where its aroma is the same as the taste - its wiered. If you were just given the egg you would know it was a KitKat one straight away!
The taste itself wasn't out of this world. Its not supposed to be a gourmet Easter egg, but it does taste nice, if not a bit sweet!
Nestle give you all the nutritional information for 100g or 1/4 of a shell. I'm sure most wouldn't just eat a quarter of an egg a day - unless they're egg tasting.
If you work it out from their stats, I think each Egg itself is around 123g. so you'll have around 66g of sugars or around half of the egg is sugars - yikes! At least they give that sort of information! I'm just trying to compare it to the Green & Blacks dark organic egg and it just gives a summary carbohydrates number. Well done Nestle. But less sugar next time please!
Overall, I say its great value for money if you use the Easter gift certificate. If you don't its expensive.

can be bought in asda for £2.00
yes the egg a good idea but your certificate will only get you part of the activity you require. i tryed to book for gokarting all i was offered was 15 mins if i wonted the full hour drive i would have to pay a further 20 pound
Canoeing has been offered through local canoe clubs without asking the clubs and using out of date contact details!
Instore sell them at £2.99 each or 2 for £5.00!
there is a technical fault on the phone lines for the weekend - if you have an egg, please call 0870-446-0242 instead of the 0845 numbers that are shown on the website! Best wishes Caroline - Nestle Response Team. Cannot change the website as everyone is away for the weekend! Happy Easter!!
Very good idea but the cost of calling the activity to book is absolutely disgusting £3.36 a minute this makes the activity not free disgusting
the charges for the call say £3.36 my egg cost less than that???
What a disappointment this has turned out to be. I have wanted to play polo for ages,so before my husband bought the egg for me,he rang the number to see where the nearest club was. He was told Halifax which isn't that far from where I live, so he bought the egg for me. When I rang the club to enquire, they told me they knew nothing about it.
Now the website is eventually up and running, I have searched for the nearest club to me - there are only two listed and both are over 100 miles from where I live. The funniest thing about this? I live in York where they make the damn eggs!
I bought four of these eggs for my four kids, but they are kids and thus not eligible for the activities, bacuse the small primt says aged 18 only. It's Crazy !!!
This is a complete rip off, who buys Easter eggs for kids over 18 ?
i tried to get info from fife venues nothing what a disapointment it was for me and my grandchildren i bought 15 eggs got nothing
I am furious about this promotion. My disabled daughter purchased one for me, thinking she was buying me a beauty treatment, what a joke! there are no salons listed within 100 miles. she is very upset. this is just another con to make people buy them. never again! MARY SCARBOROUGH
This message is for Mary from Scarborough. I am part of the Easter Egg Gift Experience working as a Mobile Aromatherapist i am visiting a client next week to give her an aromatherapy massage.
So sorry to hear about you not being able to have your experience.
I do not live in the Scarborough area so i cant help you.

Hi I am a therapist taking part in the aero mini pamper, As a therpist I had to pay £20 to take part and agree to doing 3 treatments. we are not getting paid to do these treatments.
I can understand please are upset but I have not had many calls, and happy to do more people with in the MK area with in reason as i need to make a living also .
I can understand people feeling put out that the voucher is not for a full treatment but may be now I have explained the background you can see why the Voucher clearly states it is a MINI pamper not a full treatment.
normal salon prices start at £25
and treatment last 30/45 mins. so you are getting a bargin when you think you have only paid £1- £3.50 for the egg! and upgrading for £10 means you save £15/£20 off normal salon prices and also means the therapist is getting some money also. www.healing-hands-mk.co.uk
Recently went clay pigeon shooting using a kit kat certificate had a great hour of instruction and shooting which included clays and cartridges normal cost would have been in the region of about £80Excellent value I only wish I bought more easter eggs to use at the other shooting venues
What a con! Nearly every supplier I called told me that they had stopped taking the vouchers. They are having problems getting paid off Nestle
