Retailers Quick Off The Mark!

The Christmas sales weren't even over and the Easter Eggs were on the shelves of Woolworths before we'd got our glad rags on for the New Year's Eve!

A spokesman said "A Woolworths spokesman said: "We always sell Easter eggs as soon as Christmas is over as a lot of our customers like to be organised. We've done this for 50 years."

I think it's a bit more sinister than that. I think that after Christmas they'll have loads of empty shelves and in stead of trying to fill them with other stuff for a month or so, they may as well fill them straight away with Easter Eggs! Just my views - I could be wrong!

But if you think about it in a bit more detail ...

... before we're done celebrating the birth of Christ, we've moved on to celebrating his re-birth - how mixed up is that? Woolworths really haven't thought of the religious implications of their decision - I doubt its really a concern for them!
