In the North of England, at Eastertime, a traditional game called "egg dumping" or "egg jarping" is played where hard boiled pace eggs are given out and each player hits the other players' egg with their own. The winner is the holder of the last intact egg. The losers get to eat their eggs. The game is also practiced in Bulgaria and other countries.

Spain:
In Spain people use hard boiled eggs in a dish called hornazo and is traditionally eaten in fields during the "Monday of the Waters" festival.

Hornazo is a sort of Spanish meat pie eaten in the province of Salamanca, made with boiled eggs, flour and yeast and stuffed with pork loin and spicy chorizo sausage - but no eggs of the Chocolate variety.

The festival comes from the removal of prostitutes from one part of a city around the Tormes River so that the men weren't distracted from celebrating Lent.

Eggs were not to be wasted for what they symbolised, so were added to this pie.
